About this service

Pipework that works.

Pipework is the hidden part of every pool. Over time joints fail, pipes crack with ground movement or frost, and older systems are often undersized or laid with too many bends.

We replace leaking or failing pipework between the pool and plant room, re-plumb plant rooms and correct poor layouts to improve flow and efficiency.

Re-piping is often needed alongside a leak repair, plant room upgrade or refurbishment, and we plan it to keep disruption to your garden as low as possible.

If it's ignored

Signs of pipework problems.

Pipe faults are often hidden, but they leave clues.

Unexplained water loss

The level drops more than evaporation explains, especially when the pump is running.

Weak returns

Poor flow from the returns points to restrictions or leaks.

Air in the system

Bubbles at the returns or a pump losing prime.

Wet ground

Soft or damp patches between pool and plant room.

Watch out for

Common mistakes we see

  • Digging without locating the fault first
  • Patching failing pipe instead of replacing the run
  • Undersized replacement pipe
  • Poorly glued joints
